BOE Empowers Global Partners at MWC 2024

At MWC 2024, BOE joined forces with Honor, Nubia, and other major brands to unveil several cutting-edge smartphones.

Honor Magic6 Pro features BOE’s brand-new flexible OLED low-power consumption solution. With optimizations on pixel layout and materials, the Magic6 Pro delivers exceptional battery life, improved eye protection, and smooth touch control, offering users an unmatched smartphone experience. BOE’s industry-leading 4320Hz ultra-high-frequency PWM dimming effectively minimizes the potential harm of screen flickering on eyes in low-light environments.

Nubia RedMagic 9 Pro and Nubia Z60 ultra feature BOE 6.8-inch OLED displays with Q9 light-emitting materials, delivering a stunning 2480*1116 resolution and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.7%.

3D Displays

BOE’s 3D Display solutions also found their way into brands like Lenovo and ZTE. Lenovo’s 27-inch 4K glasses-free 3D display seamlessly switches between 2D and 3D modes with the touch of a button, thanks to BOE’s 3D Display technology. It offers impressive 3D image depth without compromising 2D picture quality. Additionally, the display with eye-tracking technology that supports both horizontal and vertical eye movement, allowing users to move freely without visual interruptions. Equipped with a dedicated 4K 3D display processing chip, it minimizes the processing load supports 3D rendering locally. 

ZTE showcased the industry’s first 5G+AI-powered glasses-free 3D tablet, the nubiaPad 3D II. The tablet utilizes BOE’s 3D Display module to deliver stunning 3D visuals. Its AI-powered eye tracking enables an impressive 86° viewing angle and tracks user eye movements with real-time precision. This technology ensures minimal delay between eye movement and image updates, offering a natural and immersive 3D experience. Furthermore, the nubiaPad 3D II introduces the world’s first “Neovision 3D Anytime” technology, enabling users to convert any 2D content into real-time 3D with just a single click, offering a convenient way to experience 3D visuals anytime, anywhere.

VR, AI, and More

At MWC 2024, Skyworth showcased a lineup of VR/AR products equipped with BOE’s cutting-edge displays, including the AR A1, VR PANCAKE 1C, and MR PANCAKE 2.

PANCAKE 2 MR headset utilizes BOE’s 1.35-inch Micro OLED display, boasting a staggering 4K (3552*3840 resolution per eye), for a combined 8K experience. 

VR PANCAKE 1C headset prioritizes accessibility by featuring a 1.6K resolution display with minimal distortion (less than 1%) and incredibly low latency (under 24 milliseconds). BOE’s Fast LCD technology enables Skyworth to offer this VR experience at a competitive price point and to a wider audience.

Skyworth’s AR A1 smart glasses feature a compact 0.49-inch Micro OLED display boasting a 1920*1080 resolution. This translates to a viewing experience akin to watching a 172-inch high-definition screen from six feet away, offering a portable and immersive entertainment experience wherever you go.

BOE continues to empower top brands like Lenovo to launch a variety of cool products. At MWC 2024, Lenovo unveiled several new AI-powered devices and solutions. 

Lenovo ThinkBook 13X is an Ultra 9 AI-powered laptop for small and medium-sized business users. It is equipped with BOE’s Oxide Display technology to achieve lower power consumption while allowing lower refresh rates.

Lenovo Legion 7i laptop is equipped with BOE’s 16-inch 2.5K ultra-high-definition screen with a refresh rate of up to 240Hz, providing gamers with an ultimate gaming experience.

Lenovo’s portable display M14 is equipped with BOE’s 14-inch low-bluelight screen, opening a new experience of mobile portability. 

Yoga Slim 7i and Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i are equipped with BOE’s 2.5K resolution screens and use artificial intelligence technology to continuously improve work and entertainment efficiency.
