pushing the Limits of Display Technology: BOE America's 240Hz LCD panels

As a leader in display innovation for over 30 years, BOE America is proud to introduce our latest advancement - 240Hz LCD panels. With a blazing-fast 240Hz refresh rate, these revolutionary LCDs set a new standard for fast-moving visuals and Game Mode performance.

Built on BOE America's cutting-edge ADS pro technology, our 240Hz LCD panels feature the fastest refresh rates in the industry. With 4x the refresh rate of standard 60Hz displays, the 240Hz LCD renders up to 240 unique frames per second. This speed enhances visual clarity for action videos, sports, video games, and other dynamic content.

So how does BOE America's 240Hz LCD panel achieve such ultra-high refresh rates? By integrating sophisticated display drivers and backlight scanning methods, we can update the 240Hz LCD's backlight in sync with content onscreen. Rather than showing a single blurred frame at high speeds, the 240Hz LCD can display multiple clear images with virtually no motion artifacts.

For gamers and eSports enthusiasts, the visual advantages of 240Hz LCD displays are easy to spot. Fast-paced shooters and racing titles exhibit smoother motion and more immediate on-screen response. In competitive gaming, those extra milliseconds of clarity can mean the difference between victory and defeat. BOE America's 240Hz LCD panels combine with ultra-low input lag, resulting in a powerfully responsive 240Hz gaming monitor.

Beyond gaming, BOE America's 240Hz LCD technology also excels for live sports, action movies, CAD/CAM design, and other video applications. When viewing this rapid visual content on a 240Hz LCD display, the enhanced refresh rate and crystal-clear motion set a new standard in visual accuracy.

As a leading innovator in the global display market for 30+ years, BOE America leverages extensive R&D and vertically integrated manufacturing to produce the most advanced LCD panels and technologies. Building on past breakthroughs like oxide TFT backplanes and inkjet printing methods, BOE's 240Hz LCD panels represent the pinnacle of fast-refresh display engineering.

Within our state-of-the-art fabrication facilities, we control every phase of the 240Hz LCD production pipeline - from initial glass substrate to fully integrated monitor or television. Cutting-Edge 240Hz LCD Displays

A 240Hz LCD is a computer display that refreshes images 240 times per second. A higher refresh rate can provide gamers with:

  • Clearer images
  • Faster response times
  • Smoother, more fluid appearance
  • Faster reaction times
  • Less blur
  • More responsive and accurate gaming
  • Smoother movement in games
  • Reduced eye fatigue

240Hz is a PC-only refresh rate standard, as current-gen consoles can't do faster than 120Hz. 240Hz is recommended in 1080p and 1440p.

Some examples of 240Hz LCDs include:

  • ViewSonic XG2431
  • A 24-inch gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, less than 0.5ms MpRT response time, and Fast IpS technology
  • Z-EDGE UG27p
  • A 27-inch curved gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and 1920x1080 resolution

A 240Hz LCD monitor displays 240 frames per second with 4.17 milliseconds between each frame. This is much faster than a 60Hz monitor, which displays a frame in 16.667 milliseconds, and a 144Hz monitor, which displays 144 frames in 6.94 milliseconds. This means that a 240Hz monitor can show a new image 2.77 milliseconds faster than a 144Hz display.

High refresh rate displays achieve this by displaying more frames each second. For example, a 500Hz monitor displays each frame for just 2 milliseconds.

You can change the refresh rate on your monitor in Windows by following these steps:

1. Select Start > Settings > System > Display > Advanced display

2. Next to Choose a refresh rate, select the rate you want

You need at least HDMI 2.0 for 165Hz or 240Hz gaming. With Displayport, you can do this with Displayport 1.2 and later versions.

Initially, let me emphasize that I am uncertain as to why some individuals have expressed concerns regarding VESA mount problems. The product clearly specifies a 75mm pattern and it correspondingly aligned perfectly with one of my stand arms, along with the low-profile flat mount bracket (as displayed in the accompanying photos). By employing the accurate pattern, I experienced no difficulties whatsoever. My presumption is that others may have attempted to utilize the 100mm hole pattern, which evidently would not have been compatible. In any case, although I have not had an extensive period of usage, this monitor appears to be a sturdy and satisfactory purchase given its price.

After using my previous asus rog strix 1440p monitor for a solid 3 years, I unfortunately had to replace it due to water damage. However, when I came across this KOORUI monitor with similar specifications for $400 less, I couldn't resist giving it a shot, despite having some concerns about its quality. To my surprise, this monitor has far exceeded my expectations, delivering the same level of performance and quality as models that cost twice as much. The only small drawback I've noticed is that the bezel is slightly larger, but considering the exceptional value for the price, this is a minor inconvenience at best. Additionally, the VESA mount works perfectly with this monitor. In summary, this monitor offers incredible value and lives up to its advertised features, although it does have a larger bezel.

Simply make the purchase without hesitation. It's an excellent bargain at its price point. On par with my Dell 24 inch 1080p monitor, it offers a variety of customizable settings in the menu. However, I personally found that the factory default settings produced an exceptional image quality to my liking. I utilize it specifically for monitoring my cctv cameras and have it conveniently situated on my desk with a dual monitor desktop stand. What stands out about this monitor is its adherence to VESA compliance right out of the box. There's no need to purchase a separate adapter to convert the desktop mount to VESA, as it already features the standard VESA mount screw hole pattern on the back. Overall, it's a straightforward and reliable 1080p monitor available at an unbeatable price.
