ZEEKR 009 Glory was officially launched on April 19, 2024. As ZEEKR’s inaugural luxury four-seat MPV, it not only features BOE’s 8-inch rear control screen but is also the world’s first mass-produced vehicle with BOE LC Smart Light Curtain. Utilizing BOE’s dye liquid crystal (DLC) dimming technology, the Smart Light Curtain encompasses the rear side and rear corner windows of the ZEEKR 009 Glory. Nearly 40% of the vehicle’s glass surface can adjust to the user’s lighting preferences.
Rapid Response
BOE LC Smart Light Curtain allows for 10 levels of light adjustment, transitioning from the brightest to the darkest setting in just 1.5 seconds. Also, it can operate within a wide temperature range from -20°C to 85°C.
Natural Gray-Black Tint
Compared to the white or blue hues of competing tinting technologies, BOE’s LC Smart Light Curtain exhibits a natural gray-black tint, consistent with the vehicle’s glass design.
Privacy and Anti-Glare
BOE LC Smart Light Curtain features one-way transparency, maximizing cabin privacy. It finely adjusts different gray scales to protect passengers’ eyes from harsh direct sunlight or reflective glare.
Thermal Protection
BOE LC Smart Light Curtain blocks 99.9% of UV light and 99.5% of visible light in its darkest state, achieving 90% solar shading.
Low-voltage Operation
Competing technologies on the market operates at 110V. However, BOE’s LC Smart Light Curtain operates on a safer, more energy-efficient 12V low voltage, ensuring greater safety and lower energy consumption.
