On June 10, BOE successfully held the mass production launch and customer delivery ceremony for the Phase II Vietnam Smart Terminal Project in Phu My City, Ba Ria–Vung Tau Province, Vietnam. As BOE’s first independently built smart factory overseas, the Phase II project started mass production two and a half months ahead of schedule, once again demonstrating the “BOE Speed” through its advanced operational management capabilities.

The project has a total investment of RMB 2.02 billion and mainly produces TVs, monitors, and electronic paper products. It marks a key step in BOE’s global strategic expansion and plays an important role in building an integrated industrial ecosystem and enhancing the value chain.
BOE Chairman Chen Yanshun, Nguyen Thi Thao, Chairwoman and General Manager of Phu My 3 Industrial Park, along with core customers from the TV, monitor, electronic paper, and automotive display sectors, attended the ceremony.

In his speech, BOE Chairman Chen Yanshun stated that BOE has long adhered to a market-oriented, international, and professional development path, providing competitive products and services to customers worldwide.
The full-scale mass production of the Phase II Vietnam project will help deliver more efficient and timely services to customers. With this project as a foundation, BOE will continue to offer value-added services to global clients and contribute to the economic and social development of the local region.

BOE’s Vietnam Smart Terminal Phase II Project is located within the Ho Chi Minh industrial zone. By leveraging BOE’s strengths in intelligent manufacturing and Vietnam’s strategic location, the project aims to build a smart factory that integrates advanced manufacturing, efficient logistics, a vertical supply chain, and green, low-carbon development.
Once fully operational, the factory will have an annual production capacity of over 14 million TV/monitor terminals, more than 50 million electronic paper devices, and over 5 million automotive display units. It is expected to create over 4,000 local jobs and contribute significantly to the economic development of the region.

The successful delivery and launch of BOE’s Vietnam Smart Terminal Phase II Project further strengthens the company’s integrated industrial chain of “panel–module–terminal,” establishing it as a key hub for overseas terminal product delivery. This will effectively meet the growing demand for TVs, monitors, and other terminal products in the Asia-Pacific, EU, and North American markets, and further accelerate BOE’s global IoT innovation ecosystem.
Looking ahead to the IoT era, BOE will continue to enhance its global presence and drive industrial upgrades under its “Screen of Things” strategy. Together with global partners, BOE aims to build a robust industrial ecosystem and promote high-quality development across the industry.
