The BOE Global Innovation Partner Conference 2026 (BOE IPC 2026) opened at the China National Convention Center in Beijing on September 22nd. The conference carries the theme “Display for Interaction, Optronics for Tomorrow.” This ninth edition sets new records for venue size, attendance and number of product launches.
Display Debuts at BOE IPC 2026
α-MLED: The 18-inch WQU 240Hz Mini LED BLMB display made its global debut. BOE’s own BLMB technology cuts motion blur. The 135-inch P0.7 Micro LED reaches 3,000 nits in a module only 7 mm thick.
f-OLED: BOE’s high-clarity OLED earned Pantone color accuracy certification. It is the first in China’s display industry to do so. The mirror-smooth “crease-free” flexible OLED keeps crease depth under 100 µm. It is 50% stronger and survives 50,000+ folds at -40°C.

ADS Pro: The 85-inch RGBX Ultra TV debuts the industry’s first dual four-primary architecture. It reaches 130% of the BT.2020 color gamut. The 31.5-inch 8K UB Cell monitor made its global debut. It switches between 8K at 120Hz and 4K at 240Hz.

Beyond the Screen: Optoelectronic Fusion
Optoelectronic fusion was the core highlight of BOE IPC 2026.
Perovskite Solar: BOE’s 2.88 m² perovskite module passed double-85 and 85°C MPPT 1,000-hour tests. It holds full-sequence TÜV Rheinland IEC 61215/61730 certification. BOE also helped draft China’s first national perovskite solar standard.

Smart Dimming Glass: BOE’s ultra-large glass substrate uses through-glass via (TGV) technology. It supports advanced packaging for high-performance computing (HPC) chips. It solves two pain points of large substrates: warping and limited routing.

Glass-Based Packaging: BOE’s ultra-large glass substrate uses through-glass via (TGV) technology. It helps package high-performance chips and reduces warping.

A Vision for the Next 20 Years
Chairman Yanshun Chen announced BOE’s new positioning: “a leading global technology innovator that drives the Intelligent IoT with optoelectronic fusion.” Chen also unveiled a 20-year “Empower IoT by Display” roadmap. It has five stages that run in parallel. They range from Screen as Terminal to Screen for Everything. Chen and CEO Qiang Feng launched the “Building the Future with Light” initiative with ten partners, including SEMI, AMD and Corning. Futurist Kevin Kelly, the founding editor of Wired, gave a keynote at the main forum with market insights.
